Great News for everyone in The Drop Nation.  The band is currently in the studio and working on their long awaited new full length cd.  the band is once again recording at Dr. Knobs Audio Lab and working with Audio Engineer Ron Gonzalez.  A sneak preview will be available at www.myspace.com/dropnation as soon as it becomes available.

Jimmy's Back!!!  This past Sunday we saw the return of Jimmy Haboush.  Where was he these past months? Jimmy had to undergo surgery for his Crohn's Disease, which is an inflammatory bowel disease, that he has been living with for many years now.  Its good to have him back on his feet again!  Feel free to send him a shout.  Were happy to say that all is well!

Drop's show on AUGUST 17th at The Private Party in Rockford, IL has changed venues and will now be at LT's in Rockford, IL.  LT's is located at 1011 S Alpine Rd, Rockford IL.

Drop will be selling a VERY LIMITED production shirt for Jim Fest 2007.  Proceeds from this shirt will be donated to Jim Vaccaro's Make a Hunting Wish Foundation to help underprivileged children.  This shirt will be available only at Jim Fest however you can request one at one of the shows or shoot us an email to see if any still remain after July 1st. This shirt is 2 sided but image below shows front only.

New Shirt Designs are coming soon.  Drop will be releasing some new shirt designs that will be available at the live shows.  These shirts will include Drop work shirts and new long sleeves as well. Below is a sneak peek at one of the new designs.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS - In conjunction with the bands upcoming holiday shows, Drop has just released the plans for this years "CHEERS 'N' BEERS" Limited edition holiday long sleeve shirts.  These shirts have become an annual tradition and are definitely the rarest official Drop shirts available.  Quantities are limited and these shirts will only be available through the winter season.  These shirts would make a great Christmas gift but remember that when they're gone, they're gone!  Order yours in our MERCHANDISE section.

So you might be wondering, when is Drop playing their next show?  Right now the band has been working hard writing new material with plans to record a new album sometime in 2007.   There are plans for a couple of special shows before the end of the year.  Details regarding these shows will be coming soon.  The band looks forward to seeing everyone again soon and will be thrilled to let you hear some of the new music the band is working on.  ROCK THE NATION!

Hey DROP fans, we know its been a long time coming but we have finally added some shows to our TOURDATES section.  The band will be performing at THE BACK BAR in Janesville Wisconsin on August 4th, CHICAGO CITY LIMITS in Schaumburg IL on August 26th, and are currently working on some other midwest dates as well.  We really look forward to hitting the road again and are looking forward to seeing all our fans and friends.   As always, thanks for all the support!  See you soon!!

DROP would like to thank all of our loyal fans for their continued support.  We look forward to seeing everyone again on the road real soon.  In the upcoming months you will see many changes to WWW.DROP-MUSIC.COM as we plan on giving the site a well needed makeover.  The band has been in rehearsal and is currently working on new tunes and has a few surprises in store.  More to come....
