Drop played a couple of benefits this past weekend. Jim Fest in Huntley Illinois and at Tantra Sound's benefit at Rory's Rockhouse on Sunday. Jim Fest was an all charity blow out meant to raise money for The Make a Hunting Wish Foundation that takes disabled and underprivileged children hunting. Drop donated all proceeds from their special edition shirts to the fund. On Sunday the band played for The Sum of Hopes to help benefit Linda Hoffman who is suffering from Lou Gehrigs Disease. This event was presented by Tantra Sound. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT THESE CAUSES. See a REVIEW of Jim Fest HERE Jim Fest PHOTOS can be seen in our PICTURES section as well.

Drop has been working hard rehearsing for their upcoming shows at The Back Bar in Janesville Wisconsin and Chicago City Limits in Schaumburg Illinois. The band has been working on new tunes as well as some older tunes from their past releases. Fans can expect to hear Drop tunes that haven't been played live in many years. The bands new front man, Ian Serrano, (pictured right) has been hard at work learning old tunes and writing new tunes. Thanks to everyone one for all the support. We look forward to rockin' out with you all again!

Drop has just returned from West Palm Beach Florida and Cycle Palooza where they performed live and had a kick ass time. “The people in Florida were great!” We would especially like to thank Dave Bender and Scott Coleman who made this all possible. Extra special thanks to former band frontman Billy Freeman who stepped up and helped the boys out for this extra special event. The band performed songs that haven’t been played live in several years. The crowd was unbelievable and we look forward to returning next year for Cycle Palooza 5. We would also like to thank the band RotGut for hooking us up with back line and opening the show. Thanks to everyone who attended and welcome to the Drop Nation.
